We had such a wonderful stay at Heron Lodge, Roadford Lake Lodges. The lodge was beautifully presented and well-equipped. The position was gorgeous with field views which was appreciated while in the hot tub. We had some wonderful walks around Roadford Lake and enjoyed the cafe quite a few times. No need to travel anywhere really in the car once there but we did venture into Okehampton and Bude which both are worth visiting.
