We have had the most amazing week at Snowdrop Lodge. We visit Cornwall and Devon regularly and this is one of the best lodges we have stayed in 🙂 It is a real home from home. Thank you so much for the lovely welcome pack, it was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated.

Lovely lodge, very well equipped and comfortable. We had lovely walks around the lake. And relaxed in the evenings in the hot tub. Loved our stay, well worth the wait, hopefully we will be back. Things to do with the children: Trethorne Leisure well worth it.

Had an amazing stay in this wonderful lodge! Hot tub is great and comes with supplies and everything needed for your stay! Would 100% recommend for holidays. Good central location, fairly close to amazing beaches and seaside towns. Would love to book again and look forward to future stays.

The Gale family had a lovely week exploring around the lake, paddle boarding, zip wiring across The Eden Project, swimming in the sea at Bude along with a fabulous Cornish cream tea at Rectory Farm Tea Rooms (absolutely delicious!). Met with family staying near Par, visited Eden Project, Strawberry picking at Strawberry Fields Fam and relaxing in the hot tub after a busy day! We were three generations and we all had a fantastic time. Nothing we would change . Sitting out in the evening after being busy all day out facing that lovely field .

We had another fantastic stay at Heron Lodge. Mel was a wonderful host, with excellent communication throughout. Check-in was very easy using the key safe box, and all the information we needed was provided before our arrival.
The lodge was spotlessly clean, tidy, and well equipped. We especially loved the south-facing garden, which enjoyed sunshine all day long. It was lovely to relax in the hot tub in the morning sun and again in the evening after a day of exploring.
The location is perfect for adventures and trips to the coast. The on-site café is a real bonus, serving a great full English breakfast with beautiful views across the lake.
This was our third visit to Roadford Lakes, and it never disappoints. We will definitely be back!

This was our third visit to the Roadford Lake site and our first visit to Heron lodge. We had high expectations having stayed at Snowdrop lodge next to it the previous year. Thankfully our expectations were met, the lodge is beautifully turned out and there was a lovely welcome pack waiting for us (the lemon biscuits were exceptional). We will definitely be returning to Roadford Lake in the near future and I would love to stay in Heron Lodge again. For anyone who books it you won’t be disappointed.

We’ve had a wonderful stay here @ Heron Lodge. The lake views & breakfast @ the cafe were perfect, even on a rainy day. Great location base for visiting all the coastal sights. Lovely to wake up to birds singing and blue sky. We enjoyed the hot tub every day & had a good night’s sleep in the comfy bed. Communication with Mel has been superb; we cannot wait to book again soon.

What a beautiful home, luxury and stylish, we had everything we needed. Perfect location, thank you for the gift hamper also. Celebrated my 50th here with my family, so will forever be part of my core memories. Thank you so much!

Wow, what an impressive lodge, we didn’t want for anything, made all the better by the amazing weather. The kids had plenty of space and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, great view from the garden and felt very private which is exactly what we were looking for. The Lodge was sparkling clean and was a really high standard, beautifully decorated and well equipped. We would recommend the lodge and the site as a perfect base for a relaxing break but also quite close to all the area of beauty Devon and Cornwall has to offer. The host provided everything we could ever have needed down to even the small details and we cannot thank them enough. We will definitely be back

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful lodge. Although the weather was not good for our week, we managed to get out and see plenty, thanks to the National Trust, and we were able to come back and relax in comfort.

We stay here at least twice a year we like this lodge as with two small dogs they are closed in the back. The communication is always spot on the lodge has everything you need. It’s been perfect for my elderly parents as it’s all in one level it has all the homely qualities in a great location

Yet again, we had a wonderful stay at Heron Lodge! Each visit feel new and even better than the last – which is impossible but true! We loved the paddleboarding on the lake and enjoyed delicious pizza at a cosy farm nearby. The lodge was, as always, so comfortable – with cosy beds and plenty of bubbles (not just from the hot tub). A beautiful modern luxury lodge with lots of space. Everything was spot on, the walk in shower in the en-suite was perfect as my wife isn’t very steady on her legs at the moment as awaiting a hip replacement. We stayed with our friends and had a brilliant relaxing time, cooked, played cards and saw all the surrounding areas in Devon and Cornwall. Weather wasn’t great, but the lodge was very comfortable and warm. Cannot fault this lodge at all.

Absolutely wonderful few days at Hornbeam Lodge. Arrival email provided clear instructions and was received in plenty of time before our arrival date. Everything was exceptionally clean, very well equipped, fab hot tub and such a peaceful location.

What a beautiful lodge. Everything was absolutely spotless when we arrived. The beds were extremely comfy, kitchen was pristine and well stocked (fab hamper as well), both bathrooms lovely and clean. In short, we knew we were onto a winner within 2 minutes of arriving. The hot tub was the cherry on top. We will certainly be returning in the future, to this beautiful place. Thanks for having us!

What a wonderful stay we have had at Snowdrop lodge. My wife, daughter, mum and dad enjoyed a week’s holiday at this stunning property. It was our second visit to the Roadford Lake site (first for my parents) but our first stay in Snowdrop. The quality of the lodge did not disappoint and it was lovely to see the welcome pack that was in the lodge on our arrival. All the utilities were high quality which we all appreciated and there was plenty of utensils and crockery for the five of us. We ate in a few nights and also enjoyed a wonderful meal at the nearby Fox and Grapes pub which is definitely worth a visit. The hot tub was fantastic and was enjoyed by all on a daily basis. The site is fantastic, out in the middle of nowhere however the proximity to the A30 means you are not too far away from getting anywhere although the use of a car is essential. We will certainly recommend Snowdrop Lodge and hope to return at some point in the future. Thank you for an excellent stay.

Beautiful lodge in an idyllic, peaceful setting right by the lake. Perfect for walks , activities on the lake. Really nice cafe just a short walk away serving food, drinks and tasty ice creams. Lots of country pubs restaurants not too far away should you not want to cook. You have all the luxuries of home in Heron Lodge plus the relaxing hot tub perfect after being out for the day. Would 100% recommend this property for your break.

Wonderful stay – we brought out bikes and could easily access The Granite Way (from Okehampton of Pump & Pedal) and the Tarka from Meeth. Tavistock was lovely for a potter around and the Jamaica Inn was a good spot for lunch (just past Launceston). Everything you need here and the hot tub was fab!! Thank you – star gazing was 10 out of 10.

Yet another fabulous week here at Snowdrop! Wonderful, relaxing base to visit Devon and Cornwall. We visited The Big Sheep, Exeter Cathedral, Sandymouth Beach, Finch Foundry, Lanhydrock, Launceston Castle and other local villages. An evening meal at The Jamaica Inn was very atmospheric! We have had a wonderful week here at Snowdrop – our first as a family of 3!  Ruby, our 7 month old enjoyed playing in her paddling pool on the patio. Snowdrop is a real home-from-home, complete with everything you’d need. We also celebrated Tim’s birthday and had some lovely day trips to local attractions and Polzeath beach. We will always remember our stay and will tell Ruby about her first holiday when she’s older. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

We used your wonderful lodge whilst visiting different locations within Devon and Cornwall. It provided us with the perfect base for travelling to and from each day. We have had a wonderful and much needed break here at Heron Lodge. It wa much better and easier than anticipated. Lodge was furnished to a high standard, clean and a quiet location. Christmas decorations were a nice touch also. The wifi didn’t work however was not a major issue for us. A fantastic way to start the Christmas festivities! The lodge was so beautifully decorated and what a lovely way to celebrate our anniversary – Boscastle and Bude were such incredible day trips – thank you!

What an absolutely stunning lodge!! The welcome pack was really nice and enjoyed by all, especially Lola the dog. Fantastic location. The hot tub was lovely and luckily enough we had fantastic weather so we could make the most of it. We would highly recommend this place and Snowdrop lodge. Would 100% look at staying again if we were to travel this way!

We had a lovely relaxing 3-day stay. The Lodge was well-equipped and spotlessly clean.
After walks around the lake admiring the autumn colours it was good to be able sit and relax in the lounge with a glass of wine each.
The hot tub was an added bonus.

Great stay, immaculate accommodation. Would 100% come back again. Really, really recommend The Arundell Arms in Lifton if you like fine dining, beautiful place and beautiful food. What a beautiful day and stay it has been, we came for my daughter’s birthday and what words can we say but “Wow” Heron Lodge is a dream lodge, we have stayed in many coastal lodges but Heron is far by the best we have had. From attention to detail, to the secure gate so the dogs don’t run off, to the hot tub & views. We have had a wonderful week, there is no doubt we will come back to Heron. Thank you Chris and Mel.

We have had an amazing stay, the view to the field was great and sitting in the hot tub was relaxing. The lodge has been great as well, lots of space!

This was our 1st time at Roadford Lake Lodges and we have had a great time. Lodge is beautiful and had everything we needed. The welcome package was a lovely touch! Thank you for a lovely stay. Would definitely stay again.

We booked Heron Lodge for a week with the intention of working remotely for 2 days. Broadband excellent so that plan worked well. The lodge is beautifully fitted out, lots of good quality crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. The hot tub is private, looking out onto a field for great sunsets. The site itself is well laid out and immaculate, with easy access to the nearby reservoir. We would absolutely recommend this lodge.

Comfortable and great location. Exactly as advertised. Met all our needs. Thanks for the tea and scones on arrival. Beautiful location and easy to get to.

We have stayed at Roadford Lake Lodges many times and have stayed in different lodges and they’ve all been exceptional. Nicky and David had left us a lovely welcome pack and this was very much enjoyed. We visited Tintagel Castle and the views were breathtaking. Sunday we had another visit to Lanhydrock where we rented bikes and did a 10 mile trek – we all enjoyed this. This lodge is lovely decorated with everything needed for your stay. We all love the hot tub – even in October (our stay was full of sunshine). Hopefully we will come back to Snowdrop once again, if not Snowdrop, definitely Roadford Lakes. We have all had a wonderful stay, thank you for letting us share your lodge with us.

Had a lovely stay at Hornbeam! Thoroughly enjoyed sailing on the lake and walks on nearby Dartmoor. The hot tub was a definite highlight for us!

A delightful weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed rowing on Roadford Lake and the wonderful views. The lodge was very comfortable, overall 10/10 experience.

We are very picky about where we want to stay and after deciding on Roadford Lake Lodges spent a while selecting which lodge as at this time of year there was plenty of choice.  We have been vindicated choosing Snowdrop…excellent facilities, very comfortable, view over the field…made friends with the cows who visited us when we were in the hot tub. Recommendations: Strawberry Fields Farm Shop (a junction down the A30), Roadford Lake Café – what a view! Have a fabulous time, as we have done!

A wonderful, multigenerational week for us at Snowdrop Lodge! We were greeted with a thoughtful welcome pack that included yummy treats for both us and our dog!
A gorgeously modern and immaculately clean lodge with everything you would need to enjoy a holiday in a home away from home. Nicky has been a brilliant host, answering our queries efficiently
and sorting the one small problem we had immediately. We have had a lovely time exploring the local area – Lots of beautifully scenic walks (Roadford Lake has some gorgeous walks, mostly on gravel
paths do not too muddy), a trip to Launceston Steam Railway, kayaking on the lake, a nice meal at the Green Dragon, watching the cows and sheep from the hot tub and SO much more! A perfectly peaceful
place to ‘drop and flop’ but equally a great location to get to local attractions. Really looking forward to our next visit!

Had a lovely stay at Hornbeam, a perfect base to return to while discovering Cornwall! The kids (4) and (2) loved Pennywell Farm, and so did we. Would love to come again and discover more of beautiful Cornwall. The welcome hamper was a lovely treat, scones were delicious!

This lodge was mind blowing, the second I walked in I adored it, the sofa is comfy, the bed 1000/10. The hot tub was so so so so nice and warm. Plenty of storage. The journey of 3 ½ hrs didn’t matter I would come back any day. I adore it.

Long weekend at Snowdrop Lodge was just wonderful! Beautiful accommodation and a stunning location on the Devon/Cornwall border. Like being in the centre of a compass you can go in any direction for a fabulous day out or to find an amazing pub or restaurant to dine in. The setting of the lake is beautiful and the local cafe does a great breakfast, in fact we only ever did tea and toast at the lodge, the local pubs are fabulous old thatch roof eateries with something for everyone (even my vegan partner was impressed!) The hot tub is simply the cherry on the icing of the cake! Would recommend to anyone!

We had a wonderful stay at Snowdrop Lodge! Such a spacious lodge with plenty of room for all of the family & doggo’s! The view of the lake was a particular highlight along with plenty of activities & places to go for days out as a family. Being able to sit in the hot tub & watch the cows roaming was pure bliss! Having the outside fully enclosed was a must have for us to be able to let our dog out without having to worry about him. Thank you for having us!

Had an amazing stay it was well maintained and pristine would highly recommend and hopefully get a chance to stay there again for sure.

Arrived on the 12th and once unpacked we were straight in the hot tub. Th lodge is fantastic and the extra consideration of providing tea, coffee and welcome pack was great. Also having washing up liquid and tea towels etc was really appreciated. Although attractions and getting to the coast are a drive away it was nice to get back to the peace and quiet at the end of the day. We were limited on what we could do due to having the dog and it is worth checking which beaches allow dogs beforehand. We visited the Cornwall Air and Defence Museum, Padstow (very busy), went to Bude beach several times which is great for body boarding and surfing. Nice to walk around Bude town and there are paddle boats to hire and places to go for walks. Would recommend sticking to the A roads to Bude as the B roads are very narrow with hardly any passing places to pull into. There is access from the site down to the café by the lake with lovely views. We ordered a Chinese from Panda House in Launceston which we had to collect but can highly recommend. It is also a restaurant. The lodge lived up to our expectations and we have really enjoyed our stay.

What a lovely lodge, a great home from home for us. We have enjoyed the hot tub, lake walks, kayaking and gym onsite. For days out we have visited many great places, all within an hour’s drive, including the Eden Project, Sanymouth Beach, Castle Drogo and Crantock Beach. Thank you 🙂

We stayed with our rescue dog for a week in July the lodge was amazing, so well equipped and the owners had thought of everything even down to doggy treats. The hot tub and enclosed garden allowed us to relax without worrying where our dog was and the view over the meadow was beautiful. The site was great so peaceful and private couldn’t have asked for more from the location with the woods and lake literally on the doorstep peaceful walks in the beautiful woods …. Amazing If the opportunity arises we’d be back 100%

We had a dav out at Lydford Gorge waterfall and it was gorgeous. Also went to Plymouth, Polperro & Padstow (fabulous day, amazing hair braids!!)

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Hornbeam Lodge is absolutely beautiful, so much space and well looked after. The kitchen had so much to offer – it helped us start our day off well and full. Thank you for the welcome basket. We visited: Strawberry Fields for afternoon tea; Bude, which is beautiful; Trethorne; the Lake, for a walk. The Clovelly Inn is well worth a visit for fabulous food.  The hot tub is a bonus for night time relaxing.

We’ve had such a relaxing holiday here. Quiet, sunny, a beautiful field to look out on and a very welcome hot tub. The accommodation is lovely and clean and the area surrounding is beautiful. We came here to unwind and that’s exactly what we’ve been able to do. Thank you!

Enjoyed evening meals & BBQ in the sunshine after super sailing in the Tayler fleet down on the lake! Nice walks from the site too … and Clovelly Arms for good pub food.

This was our second visit to the site and our first to Heron Lodge. The site is easily and quickly accessible from the A30. The lodges nestle adjacent to Roadford lake and there are plenty of walks around the lake for those who enjoy the outdoors and a place to exercise the dogs. The lodge itself was pristine in its cleanliness, which is no mean feat when it is dog friendly, the standard of the interior fixtures/fittings are to a high standard and the kingsize bed was a clincher when shortlisting suitable lodges. Add to that the hot tub and the general feeling that the lodge itself was not excessively overlooked, the rear of the lodge not at all so, it made for a sense of seclusion and privacy. The only thing I missed were the cows and sheep that were in the field behind the lodge last time we were on site. The daily visit from the pheasant made up for their absence! I cannot recommend highly enough the site and in particular this lodge, I think we have found our new ‘home from home’ and hope to be back again!

Had a lovely time at Heron Lodge. Roadford Lake is a beautiful location, great walks and plenty of water sport opportunities. Well placed for visiting many Devon attractions. The lodge itself was comfortable and well appointed. It was spacious and had a great outlook over fields. The hot tub was an added bonus and very private. Great outside patio which was quite secure for our dog. Despite the wet weather at times a lovely place to stay. Great cafe in walking distance with amazing views.
Couldn’t fault it. Great to have access to EV charging.

We stayed at snowdrop lodge for 5 nights and from the moment we stepped in the door it just felt so relaxing and peaceful, the lodge was fitted out to a very high standard and was equipped with everything we wanted. Having the hot tub was amazing and so private just looking out across the field. On arrival we were left with a bottle of prosecco, apple juice, biscuits and a large bag of crips from the owner which was a lovely touch.

Beautiful lodge. Immaculately clean. Stunning surroundings. Fantastic communication. Just what we needed. WiFi was excellent and no issues. Was slightly worried from a previous review about the size of the fridge but not to worry… there was a full under counter fridge and separate three drawer freezer. The hot-tub was well maintained…..The mattress was a little springy for us, but that’s personal preference. We’ll be back in a heartbeat. It was a wonderful break and I wish that we had stayed longer. Thank you!

Away from the Christmas Period 22nd – 29th Dec – Quiet time out I was pleasantly surprised with the overall experience, communication and care from booking with Luxury Coastal and with the owners too – from start to finish. The accommodation I chose carefully being on a site that is open plan with other lodges. I wanted a little more privacy, with less footfall of people where you are not overlooked, and privacy with the hot tub and more of a secure garden as having a pet dog. Number 10 – Heron Lodge was perfect and did not disappoint in any way. It really is a warm, cosy, inviting in a sense of luxury with home-from-home experience with everything to hand, even pet bowls catered for too, with a couple of low fitted windows which my dog enjoyed sitting there having her own views…. lol..and great area for walks Beds are extremely comfortable, and all linens are to a high standard. The single bedrooms are very spacious compared to other properties I viewed. The hot tub is also to a high standard, at the back of the property and with privacy, overlooking fields, other lodges can be at the front and viewable with passing people. I did meet the head groundsman and the maintenance man for the Hot tubs, very attentive and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and trouble free… I also spoke directly with the owners to thank them personally for creating a lovely environment for people to stay, and to thank them for a lovely Hamper they supplied. They genuinely come across as wanting their accommodation to be meeting our expectations of guests to be a great break – of which it was 10 out of 10 Walking around the grounds of the complex, and having more knowledge I would still choose Heron lodge, NO’ 10 to book again

We loved our stay in this gorgeous lodge. Welcome pack was lovely. We’ve enjoyed Strawberry Fields and Bodmin Jail – thanks for the discount code found in the drawer! We’ve loved the hot tub even though the weather hasn’t been great. We will definitely be back!

We recently stayed in Heron lodge and it was very welcoming. Privately owned which had the extra touches and made it feel very homely. We will be returning to this lodge next year.

Grandparents, parents, child and dog loved our stay in Hornbeam. From walking around the lake, enjoying our cream tea, relaxing in the hot tub, eating our meals around the spacious dining table, exploring the coast. Its been a short but full weekend and we would definitely recommend staying here and consider returning ourselves as well.

Thank you for a fabulous stay. What a place! The lodge was beautiful in every way and so relaxing. What a treat the hot tub has been, both in the day and night. We shall miss the views and location. Looking forward to returning again!

A fantastic long weekend in this beautiful chalet in this wonderful setting. We had lovely walks around the most picturesque lake. Most relaxing and we left fully refreshed. The chalet was fully equipped – only criticism is no grab rail in the shower. Nevertheless we most certainly will be back.

It was a pleasure to arrive in such a well presented lodge, both in terms of cleanliness and quality – well done to you both – we are in a similar rental business in Portugal and know very well the enjoyment of guests is most important! We booked four lodges and will definitely return – especially yours.

What can we say, Snowdrop Lodge was beautiful, we booked on short notice and were amazed as soon as we walked through the door, dog friendly of course! Spacious very modern, beautifully decorated and a gift pack awaited as well. The hot tub was a welcome sight and was used daily after exploring Devon and Cornwall in our weeks stay.
The lodge felt like a home from home, lots of room for clothes in the sliding wardrobes, plenty of towels, hot water and outside patio for morning coffee watching the sun rise. We were very lucky to have a beautiful sunny weather whilst there. The Lake cafe on site was lovely we had breakfasts and lunch there on a couple of days, water for dogs and doggy ice creams, beautiful view and lovely walk for our dog. We also hired a paddleboard which we got a discount for as we were staying at the lodges. We had a chilled out week and are looking forward to returning in the future.

Had a brilliant stay here, so clean, comfortable and relaxing. Used as a base to tour around Devon and Cornwall when not out walking around the beautiful lake. Perfect setting and location. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

We have stayed in a few of the lodges at Roadford Lake over the last year and have always had a very happy stay. Snowdrop is stunning with everything you need for a great stay. It’s hot tub over looking the meadow is a treat and one of the reasons we loved it. With so much to do on your doorstep, including endless walking on Dartmoor and kayaking and paddleboarding on the lake’s activity centre we couldn’t help but have a great time. We look forward to many more stays over the years!

We managed some great days out (despite the awful weather!!) and the hot tub was a delight even in the rain! Leaving with a heavier heart as the sun is shining brightly as we leave!

The lodge was beautiful, I could move in to one permanently. The hot tub was amazing. Everything you could possibly need was thought of by the owners, there are even a few games and books, we enjoyed a family games night. The welcome hamper was lovely. The site is lovely and peaceful and is an amazing place to switch off and relax for a holiday, would recommend to everyone for a nice relaxing holiday.

Our stay at Snowdrop Lodge has been amazing. The walks around Roadford Lake are absolutely stunning, with gorgeous sunsets and beautiful views. The area has so much to offer, with great activities such as Escape Rooms and incredible gardens.
The lodge is so wonderfully equipped that it has all you could possibly ask for, we have felt so at home and comfortable.

We had a really fabulous stay here at Snowdrop. A multigenerational memorable week filled with food, laughter and games! The kids were in the hot tub every day, the nearby lake walks are gorgeous any time of the day, Strawberry Fields serves the best breakfasts and fantastic fruit picking. We couldn’t fault the lodge – you’ve thought of everything and it’s all pristine. We’ll be back!

Just had the most amazing stay here in Heron. The lodge was stunning, a real home from home. It has a fabulous position on the site as the patio was private. Beautiful welcome basket also. Will 100% be returning in the future.

• Polpero – lovely harbour (sitting on the roof terrace at the 3 Pilchards)

If you want reasonable food try the Clovelly Inn in Bratton Clovelly £120 for 5 people – starters, mains, desserts & drinks!
Launceston Golf Club works out around £60 for 3 people
Pity not closer to home would love to come on a weekend break

We stayed in Heron Lodge during the summer, we had a fantastic stay, we couldn’t have asked for more. The booking process was quick and easy and the owners were so accommodating and kind. We’ve never stayed in a more equipped lodge. The location is stunning and there is so much to do within a 1 hour radius. We can’t wait to return.

The position of the lodge is amazing, so private, the patio is not overlooked by anybody. We loved our daily walks to the lake, so nice to have this right on your doorstep. Fantastic lodge used as a base for revisiting some Devon and Cornwall memories with now teenagers. Well-equipped lodge with homely feel where each evening was spent playing board games. Hot tub greatly appreciated after days out walking and using the gym!

We have experienced some great days out at Dingles, the Hidden Valley and the kids had a great day out doing SUP and sailing.

Snowdrop Lodge was beautifully located in a really peaceful area with nature all around. It is one of the better located lodges with direct view of a beautiful wild flower meadow. Crucially, the hot tub is well hidden from the rest of the lodges, which isn’t the case in other properties. Nicky, the host, was amazing, friendly and responsive. I would highly recommend and would stay again. However, do bear in mind that there is no private enclosed area around the individual lodge for small children or dogs is a reflection of design flaw by the developers and not anything that Snowdrop could have control over.

What a lovely lodge, clean, modern and everything looking pristine as in the photos. The kitchen was very well equipped with a dishwasher, washer dryer, wine fridge, fridge, freezer, range cooker and microwave. The beds are super comfy and a great power shower. The hot tub was a very nice addition.
We liked the position of the lodge, just a five minute walk from the lake. ….. We would definitely stay again, maybe for a shorter stay. I would say this is the nicest accommodation we have ever booked.

We’ve had such a wonderful week here. The lodge is beautifully equipped and very comfortable. Launceston Stream railway is such a joy to visit. The Clovelly Inn pub is highly recommended, home cooked food at such a reasonable price and the staff are so nice. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely lodge, we had a wonderful bank holiday weekend. The welcome pack on arrival was very nice. Lodge is very well equipped and very clean and tidy. The weather was hot all weekend and we enjoyed sitting out on the patio all day/night. Loved the hot tub too – very private. Lovely walks around the lake. We also travelled to Tintagel, Boscastle, Bude and Trebarwith strand beach. We had a lovely meal at the Rydon Inn – was great.

We will be recommending 10 Heron Lodge to others and will hopefully be back again.

Lovely lodge in a lovely position. All we needed was in the lodge. It was very close to the lake. Well placed for Dartmoor & the north Cornwall coast.

We absolutely loved our 4 night stay. The location is so peaceful and the views are beautiful. Check in was easy and quick. The lodge is finished to a wonderful, modern standard, has everything you need & the hot tub is a luxury bonus. The welcome hamper was greatly appreciated, it included tea, scones, jam, clotted cream, biscuits all local produce which is lovely too. We can’t wait to come back and stay again, well worth the money. Luxury Costal are very helpful and easy to book with. You won’t be disappointed.

Lovely lodge, excellent location on site as hot tub very private. Lodge had everything we needed and we also had lovely weather which is rare for this time of year. Enjoyed days out to Bude, Dartmoor Prison Museum, Lydford Gorge and general walking. Second time to Roadford Lake Lodges would return again. PS Paddy enjoyed himself too!

Just returned from a fantastic 4 night break staying in the 3 bedroom Heron Lodge. What a lodge, it was spotless on arrival 10/10 to the cleaners, there was everything you needed even some goodies on arrival. the 3 bedrooms were huge all with tv if you wanted it on, and a great hot tub which was out of sight to everyone else which is something we wanted with open field views. booking was so easy and we were kept informed all the way. We have stayed in some top luxury Lodges in the past but this one just beats them all. The location of the site is excellent not far from all the great places of Devon and Cornwall. We are now planning our return trip for later in the year

I booked a stay at Heron Lodge as a big birthday gift for my husband’s 40th. We had a wonderful long weekend. The weather was awful, but it didn’t matter in the slightest! Between the hot tub and the wonderfully cosy lodge, we couldn’t have asked for anything more!
