Don’t forget your login details if you want to stream your Netflix or Amazon Prime. The TV has a separate soundbar and subwoofer for great sound, which can also double up as your smartphone speaker, with a quick link via Bluetooth. For cooler evenings, there is an electric fire which can be controlled manually or via an app on your phone.

We are fully stocked with glasses both breakable and quality plastic so that you can take your wine or prosecco into the hot tub as you enjoy the sun setting across the meadow. We provide a cafetiere, so if you enjoy fresh coffee, don’t forget to pack it!
We have provided a set of two plastic cups, cutlery and baby plates for our younger guests. If you have a 4-legged friend, there’s a water and food bowl if required. There is a double bin to encourage recycling in the park.

Hot Tub and Views around the Lodge

Double patio doors from the dining area lead out to the completely private, south-facing patio with views across the meadow. Enjoy your meals outside at our table and chairs with comfy cushions. If the sun is too much we have provided a parasol.
Enjoy a BBQ using our installed BBQ stand which can fit up to 2 disposable BBQs at a time (not provided). There are BBQ tongs in the kitchen.
The hot tub is heated all year round and is not overlooked by anyone else. We provide optional freshly laundered robes and slippers. Relax in the bubbles with a glass (plastic of course) of something cool and refreshing and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of Roadford Lake Lodges park. The hot tub is the ideal place to ease tired muscles after a long day’s hiking or cycling throughout the year, as well as a fun spot to catch up with friends also staying at the park.
Our lodge is surrounded by grass and newly-planted, beautifully landscaped gardens to give privacy from our neighbours, with patches of meadow left to encourage wildlife. Our section has the wildlife pond, just below us, where the duck go about their lives. The path leading to the nature trails and the cafe is a few minutes’ walk for a cream tea, refreshing ice cream, lunch or a lazy breakfast. Next door to the cafe is a new, outstanding children’s play park.

Around Roadford Lake Lodges Park

Snowdrop Lodge is situated in a quiet gated park of unique luxury holiday lodges set out in landscaped gardens. The lodges are all privately owned, with some rented to guests, on the edge of Roadford lake which is set within approximately 250 acres of natural woodland. The lodges are sectioned into 3 areas, with Snowdrop Lodge being in the second section, having just 9 neighbours with views across the meadow and to trees towards the lake.
The owners’ vision is to put wildlife at the heart of the park with a rare breed wildlife pond, wildflower meadows and many protected areas supporting a variety of native lizards, insects, mammals and birds. Upon arriving you are struck by how beautifully peaceful it is, a sanctuary in which to relax and unwind. Staff are there within working hours to greet you and show you to the lodge through the park gates. To the left of the reception is a fantastic gym, packed with the latest equipment to counterbalance the consumption of delicious Devon cream teas!
If you are bringing your dog, there is a dog wash positioned just off the path leading into the woods and the nature trails surrounding Roadford Lake. The park provides an EV charging point by the gate, super convenient for the lodge.
The Park is very safe for children, away from busy roads, lit at night, with gates to all paths leading to the Lake, and a fenced wildlife pond. The Roadford Lake Lodges Park staff are hugely friendly but unobtrusive and only a phone call away should you need them out of hours. Each lodge is monitored to ensure that quiet times are respected so you should never be disturbed by noisy neighbours in the small hours!
We are captivated by Roadford and we hope you will be too!
